Background
Aurecon was tasked with identifying regions across New Zealand suitable for fixed-bottom and floating offshore wind projects, accounting for site characteristics affecting layout, construction and operation.
What I built
Extensive research and compilation of REST services and datasets relevant to offshore wind development across the country, and multiple Esri portal groups established and maintained, each tailored to the needs of a different client working within the same national assessment.
Outcome
A national data picture assembled from distributed public sources, with client-specific views onto it rather than one shared portal serving everyone badly.
