Te Rere Hau Wind Farm
GIS, Data Management, 3D Visualisation
Paper plans and GIS files for an 80 megawatt turbine upgrade pulled into one managed dataset, then handed back as a viewer the client could explore at their own pace, linking site photos, suitability reports and 3D fly-throughs.

Background
Te Rere Hau is a wind power facility of 31 upgraded turbines with a combined capacity of 80 megawatts, replacing older turbines with larger and more efficient models.
The problem
The site generated substantial data from diverse sources and formats, including paper plans alongside GIS files. Efficient management and dissemination mattered as much as analysis given the scope of the upgrade.
What I built
Integration of paper plans and GIS files into one managed dataset, and a viewer that let the client interact with the information at their own pace. The viewer links to site photos, suitability reports and 3D fly-throughs.
Outcome
The client could explore the site information directly rather than working through issued reports, which made the upgrade assessment an interactive process rather than a document review.
